I always thought that this tree looked like it was straight out of a fairy tale, as if it was either about to eat you or help you on a crazy adventure. Perhaps this is why it was my go-to place to read when I was a kid. or to hide my “treasure” of pennies when I was young ((some of which are still up there, hidden from the pirates)). Up here I was a princess, a warrior, a alien, an astronaut, a pirate, a unicorn, Goku, or Ariel. This was my magic treehouse, allowing me to dive deeper into books than most ever experience. :]
Tree of Dreams
I have been meaning to use one of these trees in a photo for years and inspiration struck me today.
The metal tree was made by my uncle. If you are interested in purchasing one, send me a message. He is really talented with wire creations. :]
Merry Christmas, everyone!!! :D
Took this photo a few years ago.
Meant to upload this here first then reblog there, but oh well. :]
The grass is greener now than it was all summer.. wtf.
The biggest tree in my yard! This is only showing a small fraction of the trunk. It is the tree that our treehouse is in. :]
Stop thinking and DREAM. Let your heart run wild. For it is only when we live free that we see our true potential - Resa
Probably going to redo this one.
This is going to be a pain in the ass to take 365 photos of a book and keep them interesting. :/ But my main goal is to actually get my collection of quotes into pretty books instead of just scribbled on pieces of paper, soo I shouldn’t stress myself out too much about the photographic appeal.
My Star In The Dark
If all the stars disappeared from the night sky, the world shall be sad, but I would not cry.
My star stands on Earth, bright as can be.
He is no one elses star, he was put here for me.
I hope I am his, shining so clearly, his vibrant rays touch me so dearly.
Together we will create worlds for others.
As we float through life, not just as stars, but as lovers. -Resa
You are my star in the dark. You are the oxygen to my breathes. You are the smile on my face. You are the inspiration to my creation. You are the love, happiness, and reason to my life. But most importantly, you are my Judd to your Resa. :]
I wrote the poem and message in a get well card for my fiance after he got in a car accident last October, but I never had a photo to go with it. This photo is of a spiral necklace I gave him for Valentines Day 2009 and both our elephant rings. Our first date was to see Horton Hears A Who, so elephants are special to us. :] Spirals have also become significant to our love.
